'Walnut Tree Villa' in the peaceful and picturesque Hungarian village of Horvatzsidany (pronounced hor-vats-she-darn).

Only 3 miles from the Austrian border and 4 miles from the historic town of Koszeg, which the Rough Guide book claims to have the best town centre in Hungary!

Walnut Tree Villa is a large, extensively renovated and modernised Hungarian village house.

Relax in the garden, by the pool or take a walk through the woods.

It is possible to hire the property as a whole, or the Main Villa or Annexe separately.

Our village is quiet and friendly, with 2 grocery shops, a post office, 2 bars and an excellent 'Austrian hunter style' restaurant, The Margareta, which serves excellent food at great value. Starters include a range of soups from less than £1 and main courses include venison & wild boar for under £5. There are several other good restaurants in Koszeg and nearby villages.

We also have a local beauty salon and if desired we can arrange beauty treatments, massages, manicures etc to pamper you during your stay!
